My career began when I joined Midland Bank in 1986 as a junior clerk. I worked up through the ranks and took on the role of Financial Planning Manager in November 1994. I took the Financial Planning Certificate exams at this time. This role focused mainly on Personal Clients with some small Business planning as well.
I spent the next 10 years gaining experience, along with working on mortgages and gaining the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Principles. During this time, my working life revolved around having 3 children and working part time.
In 2004, I was promoted to Commercial Financial Planning Manager, which involved advising on Business Financial Planning, and Principal's Personal Planning.
In 2008 I proceeded to gain further qualifications.
